By Top Nollywood actor, Olumide Bakare is dead.
News reaching BlackBox Nigeria has it that the respected actor died after a long battle with a heart disease.
Olumide Bakare has been on admission at the University Teaching Hospital, UCH Ibadan for several months and had just undergone a major surgery which was declared successful before he gave up the ghost. 
According to a former president of the National Association of Nigerian Theatre Arts Practitioners, NANTAP, Mufu Onifade who confirmed the sad news, Bakare passed on early Saturday morning. “He had a successful surgery and after the surgery, he talked to people and told them he was fine. But two hours later, he passed on. It is very painful because I had actually been wishing him a quick recovery,” Onifade disclosed.
