By Kappo Olawale Samuel has been elected the new President of the Lagos State University Students Union. Kappo, a 300 level stdent from the Faculty of Science defeated other contestants as students of the citadel took to the polls today.
He won the election with a total votes of 784 while his rival, Adeleye Samuel Williams polled 553.
A 300 level student of Psychology, Olundegun Simiat Adeola emerged the Vice President while Faleye Adedoyin Kamorudeen, Olaniyi Adeoluwa Favour and Akamo Babatunde Fatai emerged the Welfare Director, Public Relations Officer and Sports Director respectively.
