By Breaking! Lagos Government Demolishes Jakande Market, Ketu
Traders of Jakande Market, Ketu were thrown into agony on Thursday morning as bulldozers pulled down their shops.
BlackBox Nigeria gathered from a shop owner that the traders were earlier given notice to vacate the location so that modern stalls will be constructed, but were later told to resume trading until the rude shock.
The trader disclosed that the plan by the State Government and developers was to demolish the current market stalls, then build new ones from scratch so that any interest traders will have to purchase or lease again.
