We have it on good authority that moments ago, President Muhammad Buhari in honouring the reign of democracy in Nigetria, has announced that henceforth the National Stadium in Abuja will now be known as ‘MKO Abiola Stadium.’

Buhari made this pronouncement during his speech at the Democracy Day celebration currently on going at the Eagle Square, Abuja.

Also recall that MKO was awarded by the presidency a posthumous award of GCFR which is the highest national award in the country only given to the Executive President.
