By Breaking: Buhari’s Ally and Chairman of Bulet Construction Company, Ismaila Isa Funtua is Dead
News reaching BlackBox Nigeria at the moment can confirm that Mallam Ismaila Isa Funtua, a close ally of President Muhammadu Buhari is dead.
The Founding Managing Director of Democrat Newspaper and former President of the Newspaper Proprietors Association of Nigeria (NPAN), died of cardiac arrest Monday night.
He was life patron of Newspaper’s Proprietors Association of Nigeria (NPAN) and Chairman of Bulet International Construction company.
The second Republic Minister and Elder Statesman, who died at the age of 78, was accused recently to have been awarded a contract by the Central Bank of Nigeria at a whopping N30bn in 2019 for the expansion of its parking lot.
He will be buried according to Islamic rites Tuesday.
