By Boost For Primary Education In Igbogbo As Sesan Daini Distributes Educational Materials In Support Of Gov. Sanwo-Olu’s THEMES Agenda
In furtherance of promoting the fourth pillar of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s THEMES agenda, which is Education, the Executive Chairman of Igbogbo-Baiyeku Local Council Development Area, Builder Sesan Mayokun Daini, today, distributed 700 chairs and desks, 120 White marker boards and 10 Mowers for grass cutting in all primary schools in Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA.
Speaking at the public presentation held at Methodist Primary School, Igbogbo, the Council Chairman, averred that the educational project aims to support primary schools within its domain in line with the THEMES agenda of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu’s led administration.
“What we are doing today is to meet the need assessment of the 12 primary schools in Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA, and try to solve it one after the other.
“One of the major reasons we are doing this today is to return our primary schools to the old glory of this country… We want to support the THEMES of Babajide Olusola Sanwoola-Olu in promoting education in Lagos State,” he said.
Builder Daini further affirmed the commitment of his administration to commence the construction of a brand new primary school in Oreta area of Ikorodu and perimeter fencing for others. He also assured the Igbogbo people to expect more dividends of democracy under his administration.
The Head Teacher, Methodist Primary School, Elepe, Adewale Stephen Olusegun along with his fellow headteachers were full of praises for Daini’s responsive leadership to the plight pupils in Igbogbo
On his part, member, representing Ikorodu Constituency ll, at the Lagos State Assembly Nurudeen Sholaja described the education intervention as very timely and important.
Some of the beneficiaries included Methodist Primary School Ibeshe, Methodist Primary School Elepe, LG Primary School Oreta, LG Primary School Baiyeku, and USC Primary School Eleja amongst Others.
