Barely a month after AKA’s murder, another Popular South African and Amapiano Rapper dies

Death has again taken its toll on another popular South African Rapper, Costa Titch, barely a month after the gruesome murder of Kiernan Jarryd Forbes (AKA).

The African Music World was greeted with yet another sad news following the announcement of the demise of the amapiano rapper who reportedly slumped while performing at the Ultra South Africa Music fest yesterday.

As seen in a now viral video footage, the 28 year-old rapper had suddenly slumped while performing, but his bodyguard assisted him back on his feet as he continued with performance.

It was not up to a minute before Costa slumped again and had to be carried off the stage.

His family, however, released a statement announcing the rapper’s death via his Instagram account earlier this morning as tribute flowed from fans and friends.

The statement read in part, “Death has tragically knocked at our door. Robbing us of our beloved son, brother, and grandson, Constantinos Tsobanoglou (28), who South Africa had come to love and idolize under his stage name “Costa Titch”. It is with deep pain that we find ourselves having to acknowledge his passing at this time.”

Born in Nelspruit Mpumalanga, South Africa, the late rapper was renowned for his Amapiano-inspired music and had seen to release of trendy songs which always appear in South Africa Top Ten music with the recent being Superstar.

Prior to his death, Costa had recently announced the release of his new music titled Enjoyment which he sang in collaboration with fellow South Africa musician, Buzzi Lee.

Meanwhile, the cause of his death is still unknown, though there were controversies that his death was heart attack related.
