Barcelona Exit: See Possible Clubs For Lionel Messi

After another disappointing season for  Barcelona, Leo Messi is linked to a move away from Camp Nou again this summer, but then where can he go?

Below are some possible clubs Leo could join ;

MANCHESTER CITY

Imagine Messi reuniting with Pep, playing alongside his homie Aguero & the genius Kevin De Bruyne?

What a move that would be. KDB could take a more central role to let Messi roam freely over the whole pitch.

He could prove himself in the premier league. I feel like this could be a match made in heaven.

Also, Man city are 1 of only 2 clubs right now that could easily afford Messi’s wages & a possible transfer fee. If he leaves, I actually see this as the most likely option.

PSG

The other club that can easily come up with the money required to pay Messi is obviously PSG.

At the Qatari side, Messi would be able to reunite with his buddy Neymar.

Simply imagine that trio: Neymar, Mbappe, Messi.

Whether Leo really wants to play in Ligue 1 Is another question, but this is a move that’s surely possible as well.

INTER MILAN

The Inter links started months ago & they’re still going on. Apparently, as part of Inter’s big comeback to the top of world football, they identified Messi as their dream target.

I mean, actually why not? Inter is a rising club & Serie A is a rising league. There, Messi could face Cristiano again & compete with him for the Serie A title. I just have my doubts if inter can really afford Messi plus his wages, so this move seems less likely to me.

NEWELL’S OLD BOYS

The radical option. Messi has always said he dreams to play for his boyhood club “Newell’s Old Boys” again sometime. Maybe that time has come.

This would be the emotional choice every football romantic would love. But I think at 33, Messi still has a lot more to offer on a top level instead of already returning to Argentina. This isn’t going to happen yet if you ask me.

FC BARCELONA

Let’s be honest. We’ve been getting these rumour’s of Messi leaving Barca every year lately. How does it always end? In a contract extension with higher salary. Although the situation is worse this time, I would still consider another season at Barca as the most likely option for Messi. Especially in these hard times, the captain actually doesn’t leave his ship. Instead, he could become the leader of Koeman’s rebuild.
