In what appears to be a subtle “we are doing absolutely fine” message, musician turned politician, Banky W and his wife, talented Nollywood actress, Adesua have reacted to viral news of an impending breakup between them.
Over the weekend, unconfirmed reports claimed the PDP House of Representatives candidate for Eti-Osa in Lagos during the last general elections had impregnated his former label mate who has over the years reportedly become his mistress. In the claim, it was reported that Bankole Wellington has been having an affair with singer, Eniola Akinbo better know as Niyola over the years even before his marriage to Adesua.
The report which emanated from a popular controversial online blog, claimed the reported affair have in the past led to several pregnancies which were terminated. It claimed the ‘Toh Bad’ singer however refused to let go of any more pregnancy which has now put a strain in the Banky W’s marriage.
Fans and other admirers of the couple have since the breaking of the story expressed fear and worry for the marriage of the Wellingtons with many sending the EME boss rows of expletives.
In a surprising turn however, Nigerians woke up to a subtle public display of affection from Adesua and Banky W Monday morning as the dotting husband commented on a post she made on her Instagram account. Quite smitten, Adesua responded in an equally loving manner which plainly states that all is actually well in paradise.
A fan commented that this was a subtle message to online in-laws to simply mind their business.
