Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has revealed that he’s still undecided about running for the 2027 presidential election. He shared his thoughts during an interview on the TV program “Untold Stories” with Adesuwa Giwa-Osagie. Atiku, who has run for president six times, emphasized the need for a “viable platform” before making a decision.
Atiku’s uncertainty comes amid speculation about who will lead the opposition coalition he recently formed to challenge President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the next election. Other prominent figures, such as Peter Obi and Nasir El-Rufai, are also being considered to lead the alliance.
Despite his uncertainty, Atiku didn’t rule out running again, stressing that Nigeria needs “experienced and credible leadership” now more than ever.
