In a remarkable turn of events, Alabi Pasuma, the popular Fuji musician, and Portable, the controversial street-hop artiste, graced the stage of a celestial church in Lagos, undeterred by the initial uproar surrounding their invitation.
Despite social media controversies and opposition from Celestial Church leader Olatosho Oshoffa, Pasuma and Portable took center stage at the church’s praise night, showcasing a blend of musical prowess and spirituality.
Presiding pastor Aderemi Dabiri, responding to the backlash, defended the decision, highlighting the intention to draw souls to Christ through the performance.
In a captivating video that circulated online, Pasuma, donned in a casual shirt and trousers, and Portable, adhering to the church’s dress code in a white garment, delivered an energetic performance.
The rendition of Pasuma’s popular track, “Zazuu,” echoed through the congregation, fostering an atmosphere of excitement and shared celebration within the church.
