By Asisat Oshoala’s football clinic for school girls kicks off in Lagos
Monday marked the kicked of football star, Asisat Oshoala’s pet project, a football clinic for the girl child which is holding in Lagos.

The first day saw the talented footballer met with girls from different schools in Lagos under a “Meet and greet session”. The football clinic BlackBox Nigeria has learnt is Asisat Oshoala’s targeted way of reaching out to young females to get encouraged in combining sports with their academics.
The event held inside the Molade Okoya-Thomas Sports Hall of the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos. It had in attendance; Governor Akinwumi Ambode’s Senior Special Adeviser on Sports, Adeyinka Adeboye, Nigerian footballer, Gbolahan Salami, a football scout from Birmingham, United Kingdom, Ali Al Roz amongst others.
The football clinic is powered by Asisat Oshoala Foundation in conjunction with Lagos State Sports Commission.
