After a severe battle at Wembley, Arsenal have ended the hopes of Antonio Conte of Chelsea of clinching his second trophy in his first season after thrashing his side 2-1 to clinch the 2016/17 FA Cup.
An early goal by Alex is Sanchez had put the Gunners in the early lead that saw them ending the first half victorious.
Nigeria’s Victor Moses was sent off in the 68 minute of play after he got a second yellow card for diving for a foul in the 18yard box of Arsenal.
However, Diego Costa equalised in the second half, putting the game to a balance, but while still in the frenzy celebration, Aaron Ramsey got a cleared pass from Olivier Giroud which he quickly converted to a goal and put the Gunners in the lead again.
The final whistle was blown by Anthony Taylor, the referee which saw the North London side clinching it’s 13th trophy, making them the only English club with the highest tally after a tie with Manchester United who also has 12 of the trophy.
The victory also makes it 7th trophy for the current Manager, Arsene Wenger.
