Arsenal Coach, Mikel Arteta tests Positive to Coronavirus

Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta has tested positive to Coronavirus, BlackBox Nigeria has gathered.

According to the BBC, the English club has now closed training while isolating all staff who have recently come in contact with the Spanish coach.

The English club has also confirmed the development stating that Arteta is disappointed but in good spirits.

A statement by Arsenal stated that; “The health of our people and the wider public is our priority and that is where our focus is. Our thoughts are with Mikel who is disappointed but in good spirits. We are in active dialogue with all the relevant people to manage this situation appropriately, and we look forward to getting back to training and playing as soon as medical advice allows.”

Arteta is the latest top celebrity to have contacted the virus which has continued to break out in the United Kingdom and other parts of Europe.

Also known as Convid-19, Coronavirus is the latest endemic currently ravaging the world. It started months ago in a city named Wuhan in China.
