Nollywood actors Aremu and Kunle Afolayan, children of Nigeria’s legendary actor Adeyemi Afolayan, popularly known as Ade Love, have seemingly reconciled after rumors of a long-standing feud, putting their differences aside to honor their late mother, Omoladun Afolayan, who passed away at the age of 81.

Aremu publicly apologized to his brother Kunle for the social media backlash at their mother’s wake-keep ceremony. In an emotional statement, Aremu admitted to causing his brother distress by airing grievances online, saying, “I’m sorry for putting you through Instagram backlash and all that, but it’s because I fucking love you.”

Aremu also praised Kunle for his generosity, revealing that Kunle had built a new house for their mother, though she unfortunately passed before she could enjoy it. Aremu acknowledged his brother’s efforts, stating, “I don’t have a dime in the construction of the house Kunle built for our mother, but I thank him for his kindness.”

In one video, Aremu was seen sitting next to Kunle, recording the event alongside other guests. In another video, they were captured in conversation.

Rumors of a feud between the Afolayan brothers had circulated for years, with Aremu previously sharing a bitter childhood memory that hinted at a strained relationship. However, it appears the brothers have put the past behind them to come together and mourn their mother’s passing.
