By Aregbesola Comes Under Social media Attack Over Construction Of Golden Gate
Critics have come for Governor Rauf Aregbesola after the State Government’s plan to erect a ‘Golden Gate’ in Iwo area of the State. It was gathered that the construction will be a multi-million Naira project.
BlackBox Nigeria gathered that the project already has the backing of the Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdul-Rasheed Adewale Akanbi who stated that the construction would enhance the security of Iwo town which is on the outskirt and a bother town with Oyo State.
However, this development did not go down well with some indigenes of the State who revealed that there are some projects that needs urgent attention instead of erecting the gate. Others also asked the Governor to pay up salaries.
Social media users reacted to the post on the Governor’s Facebook page. Some commenters asked that Ladoke Akintola University of Technology be re-opened and money proposed for the gate should be used to pay the striking lecturers.
