APC wins all 40 Assembly seats in Lagos 

The ruling All Progressives Congress has won all the 40 seats at the Lagos State House of Assembly BlackBox Nigeria can report. The party reclaimed all the seats it lost during the 2015 elections including Ojo, Oshodi/Isolo and Amuwo Odofin.

The speaker of the Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa leads the pack again following a fifth term win while the likes of Majority Leader; SOB Agunbiade, Chief Whip; Rotimi Abiru, Olarenwaju Layode of Badagry 1, Rotimi Olowo of Somolu 1, amongst others are returning for their fourth term in the Assembly. The Deputy Speaker, Wasiu Eshinlokun Sanni is also returning for the third time.

Tinubu’s nephew, ADedamola Richard Kasunmu; Lai Mohammed’s son, Folajimi Lai-Mohammed; Nollywood actor, Desmond Elliot also won their second term re-elections.
