By In what may be considered a reward for a rare show of loyalty, an aspirant for the position of the National Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Olusegun Dada has met with its National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The campaign team for Dada made this known in a tweet on Monday, alongside pictures of the young politician and the former Lagos State governor.
“Our leader @dolusegun visited his father and national leader of our great party Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as part of his post convention consultations,” it reads.

Recall BlackBox Nigeria reported how Dada tearfully withdrew his aspiration at the party’s National Convention held on Saturday in submission to the consensus arrangement of the party which produced Dayo Isreal as the preferred candidate for the position.
In a statement published on his Twitter page, he would later describe his withdrawal as “an clear indication that the party will always be supreme”.
“No aspiration is bigger than the party hence my stepping aside to ensure the party exercise her most preferred mechanism in selecting the youth leader of the party as well as other positions in the party structure via consensus,” Dada said.
