Anambra Shooting: Bishop Visits Hospital, Doles Out Cash To Victims Of Church Massacre

Reports from Ozubulu community has it that the man suspected to be at the centre stage of the Anambra Catholic Church shooting, ‘Bishop’ has visited injured victims as they are receiving treatment in hospitals after the shooting. BlackBox Nigeria gathered that he visited the hospital bearing gifts which included relief materials and cash.

BBN gathered that the man well known as Bishop gave each of the injured victims sum of N5m while he gave families of each of the deceased N15m for the loss.

It will be recalled that the August 6th Shooting carried out at the St Phillips Catholic Church during their 6am Mass service which resulted in death of worshipers was alleged to be targeted at ‘Bishop’ who was said to be living very close to the church as he built it beside his house. His father was however caught in the massacre.

Reports from the community suggested that the terror was unleashed on the church when his attackers found out he was neither at his home nor church when they stormed Ozubulu community. Police reports also revealed that the shooting was orchestrated due to a fall out between two indigenes of the local area.
