Anambra Police nabs three car snatchers, recovers over 120 phones

One Ayingor Arinze, Chinedu Nweke and Ebuka Christain suspected to be car snatchers have been confirmed nabbed by the Anambra police devision.
The Anambra police spokesperson, Haruna Mohammed, in a statement on Thursday who confirmed the arrest of three suspects stated that that the trio was nabbed by Puff Adder operatives in conjunction with police detectives attached to Aguata Division of the command following genuine intelligence report.
Blackbox Nigerian gathered that over 120 mobile phones which had been stolen from random victims were recovered from the suspects.
“The trio are part of the gang allegedly involved in series of armed robbery in the Anambra and Asaba axis, and they are prime suspects for a stolen Toyota Corolla 2004 and a Lexu 300 which went missing in Aguata.
“we recovered one Gionee handset belonging to one of the victims whose vehicle was snatched, we also recovered 12 Itel phones of different models, 26 infinix phones of different models, 32 Tecno phones of different models, 3 Gionee of different models, 16 Samsung phones of different models, and 60 other smaller phones of different makes and models all belonging to victims”, Mr. Haruna said.
He attested that the suspects will be prosecuted after investigations were concluded.
