By The formal launch and unveiling of the Ikorodu Division Peace Initiative is set to hold on Wednesday, March 9 at the Ikorodu Ultra-Modern Town Hall.
The Ikorodu Division Peace Initiative is a security architecture initiated by the royal fathers in Ikorodu Division, and chaired by the Chairman, MultiChoice Nigeria and the Odofin of Ikorodu Kingdom, High Chief Adewunmi Ogunsanya, SAN.
According to a statement by the organisers, the epoch-making event will be graced by distinguished guests including the governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
The chief launcher is a former Managing Director and Founder of Zenith Bank Nigeria PLC, Mr Jim Ovia. While the event will be chaired by one of Nigeria’s leading business tycoons and Chairman of Folawiyo Group of Companies, Mr Babatunde Folawiyo.
“Other guests expected at the event are political office holders, captains of industries, notable Ikorodu sons and daughters among many other distinguished guests within and outside Ikorodu.
“Meanwhile, popular entertainment group, Ikorodu Boiz will be thrilling guests with live stage performance of their entertaining drama presentation at the event,” the statement read in part.
The event will feature the presentation of patrol vehicles, motor bikes and other equipments to security agencies operating within Ikorodu Division.
