A former gubernatorial aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Samuel Mawuyon Ajose (SMA Gold), has congratulated Princess Damilola Sonayon James on her emergence as the party’s deputy governorship candidate for Lagos State, describing the development as a significant milestone for Badagry and its people.
In a congratulatory message posted on his X handle, the Badagry-Born politician said the nomination was a well-deserved recognition of James’ dedication, service, and commitment to the APC.
He noted that her emergence represents a proud moment for the Badagry Division and reflects the growing recognition of the area’s contributions to the political development of Lagos State.
According to him, the development is particularly encouraging for advocates of greater inclusion and representation for Badagry in the state’s leadership structure.
“For those of us who have consistently advocated for greater inclusion and representation for Badagry, this milestone is both meaningful and encouraging,” Ajose said.
He stressed that his long-standing advocacy for increased political representation for Badagry was not driven by personal ambition but by the desire to ensure that the people of the division have a voice in governance and decision-making.
