Agboyi-Ketu Youths Mobilise To Replace Late Tunde Braimoh With Youthful Oladega Ibrahim
As the campaign to replace flamboyant late lawmaker, Tunde Braimoh in the Lagos State House of Assembly, comes underway, young people in Agboyi-Ketu area of Kosofe Constituency 2 are clamouring for a youthful representative with the capacity to deliver an inclusive Legislative Agenda.
Speaking to BlackBox Nigeria, representative of the youth in the area and former President, Agboyi Students Union, Comrade Muyideen Yusuf, said they are putting their strength behind a progressive member of their age bracket in the person of Oladega Ibrahim who has been a loyal member of the All Progressive Congress.
”We have been consulting and reaching out to all concerned stakeholders. Prince Oladega Ibrahim is not only youthful but has the intellectual capacity to deliver a progressive and people-driven agenda, we are putting the youth structure behind him, ” he told BlackBox Nigeria.
Oladega Ibrahim Kehinde is an award-winning broadcaster with over 15 years of active practice in both radio and television broadcasting and productions.
A Prince of Agboyi- Ketu Kingdom, the prolific radio and television personality turned politician has an encouraging resume as he sits as the Chief Executive Officer of DACENE MEDIA SERVICES, a platform he superintendent to win the Indigenous Broadcast Producer Award for 2014 and 2017 respectively.
Oladega Ibrahim is a graduate of Mass Communication from Lagos State Polytechnic and earned a Postgraduate degree from Olabisi Onabanjo University, before obtaining his Masters in International Relations from St.Louis African University, Republic Of Benin.
He proceeded further to acquire a certificate in Film and TV Production from the National Film Institute `NFI`Jos, while also bagging a Diploma Certificate in Basic Broadcast Production from National Broadcasting Academy.
Oladega, according to his admirers, is a dedicated and loyal politician who has served the ruling party meritoriously in different capacities. He served in Osun state under the government of Ogbeni RAUF Aregbesola as Special Assistant to the then Honorable Commissioner For Information. He was also a member of the media committee of Babajide Sanwo-Olu Campaign Organization and still very much active in the service of Lagos and Kosofe in particular.
Prince Ladega as fondly called by close associates is Popular with his radio program`LERE` on radio Lagos and has voiced so many radio jingles for clients home and abroad. He shot the award-winning HIV/AIDS campaign, World Bank Assisted Project for the State of Osun. He has anchored over 20 National and State events with accolades.
