Renowned Nigerian artist, Esegine Allen, professionally known as Orezi, has made a resounding declaration that the afrobeats music genre lacks its full value in the absence of his artistry.
After maintaining a deliberate low profile for some years, Orezi has boldly announced his return to the Nigerian music scene with the intent to reassert his dominance.
In an exclusive interview with Gehn Gehn TV, the iconic “Shoki” artist confidently stated, “Afrobeats, devoid of my musical essence, falls short of its true potential. Like a lion on the prowl, I shall carry the afrobeats genre to greater heights and seize the spotlight.”
Furthermore, Orezi underscored his distinctive approach to music, firmly stating, “I do not adhere to conventional norms; rules are designed for ordinary artists. I am Orezi.”
