By Adekunle Gold teams up with Davido in new track, ‘High’
Nigerian singer, Adekunle Gold has released a new track titled “High” featuring multiple award-winning artiste, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido.
The duo seems to have a very good relationship as Adekunle Gold wrote the hit single, “1 Milli” for Davido in 2019. The song was later featured in the latter’s 2020 album, “A Better Time”.
“High”, which dropped of recent, advises people to live a happy and less-bothered life with words like “wake up and jump start” and “watimagbo” — commonly used in the Gen-Z parlance — in the lyrics of the song.
According to Boomplay, Adekunle Gold also known as AG Baby speaking about the song said, “High is a song about to being free to live happily ignoring cares and drama of life monetarily having. High is a mindset to prioritize joy and jump starting your day with positive energy.”
“I wanted to write a song on nothing that made you forget your worries. This came with ease as most things do when you are grateful for life and living it on high,” he added.
