ABIKE DABIRI-EREWA EXPRESSES DOUBT IN BECOMING NIGERIA’S FIRST FEMALE PRESIDENT

If any female in the nearest future decides to achieve the unprecedented since the creation of the entity ‘Nigeria’ by becoming the first female president certainly a woman likely to attain that feet with her rich C.V is Abike Dabiri-Erewa who has now come out open to express her doubt on the possibility.

Abike Dabiri-Erewa, @abikedabiri who was a 3 term House of Representatives member representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency from 2003-2005 and current Senior Special Assistant, SSA to President Buhari on Foreign Relations & Diaspora responded to @originalcharger one of her supporter and proponent of the female president theory that realistically she cannot be President.

 

@Orignialcharger initially took to Twitter to express optimism in the presidency of Dabiri.

Abike Dabiri-Erewa without wasting time, took to her handle @abikedabiri to respond to this tweet already going viral by according to her, talking as the realist.

 

She wrote,

“Haaaaaaa. Me Ke??. In this Nigeria??? Am also laughing. I am a realist ooooooo. I don’t deceive myself.”

Dabiri-Erewa worked for the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) for fifteen years, anchoring the weekly NTA Newsline programme and taking a particular interest in poverty and social justice issues. She retired from her position at Nigerian Television Authority to stand for election in the House of Representatives, winning with a substantial majority. While in this role, she stood against the third term bid of former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
