By Buhari’s Only Son, Yusuf Spends Sixth Day In Abuja Hospital
After his power bike accident on Boxing Day, December 26th, Yusuf Buhari has remained on admission at the Cedar Crest Hospital, Gudu, Abuja.
Reports from the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has it that security operatives are still stationed in and around the hospital. It was reported that as at Sunday, December 31st night, security vans were still seen packed in front of the Hospital.
The security operatives include Police officers, operatives of the Department of State Services, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps as well as the Federal Road Safety Commission.
It will be recalled that Yusuf Buhari was involved in an accident when he was said to be racing with an unknown friend,, also with a power bike. The accident left him with an injury to his head and other injuries to his body parts.
A security source disclosed to Punchng that it was certain the security officials deployed to the hospital would spend the New Year there and even beyond.
“You can see that we are all here till the New Year comes. This is a top national duty too. Almost every Nigerian now knows the President’s son is sick and admitted here. We wish him a quick recovery,” the source said.
A day after the accident, Presidential spokesperson, Mallam Garba Shehu had stated that Yusuf was in a stable condition after undergoing a surgery, but he has now spent six days in the hospital without an image of him to the public knowledge, even though top government officials have been visiting him.
