By Bariga LCDA Joins Cleaner Lagos Initiative As Chairman Advocates For Flowing Drainages
Chairman of Bariga Local Council Development Area, Hon Kolade Alabi in the spirit of joining the cleaner Lagos Initiative joined other Council officers to clear refuse from the streets and drainages.
It will be recalled that the State Government had advised all Chairmen of LGAs and LCDAs to take importance of their respective environs by making sure it is clean.
Hon Alabi while addressing some residents during the environmental clean up stated that his administration was concerned about healthy environment and he needs their cooperation to achieve the vision.

“We need to help ourselves, we need to make our healthy environmental vision working through your collective cooperation.
“The habit of blocking our gutters and drainages with refuses must stop to make our vision working” said Hon Alabi
“Much as we all know that our symbol and Governor, His Excellency Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode has committed so much into an healthy living environment for all in Lagos State, an effort which gave birth to the Cleaner Lagos Initiative.
“In view, i want to implore you all to let’s compliment the government efforts towards making our dream for Bariga LCDA realised,” he added.
