By Eko Boys High School on Sunday evening lifted the 3rd edition of the El Nino Birthday Challenge Cup after defeating defending Champions Ilupeju Secondary School at Ilupeju Primary School, Town Planning Way,
The match saw Eko Boys High School avenging their predecessors by Defeating Ghetto Light FC 3 – 2 at the same Semi final stage the Ghetto ballers eliminated them in the last edition.
Ilupeju Secondary School on the other hand Defeated the winner of the inaugural edition of the competition, Lyon Blessings FA via the lottery of Penalties.
The final match ended in a bore draw and Eko Boys High School were the most composed in front of the goal keeper hereby winning the spotkick via the lottery of Penalties and lifting the challenge cup for the first time.
Afternoon losing out to Soccer City Queens in the finals of the 2019 and 2020 edition of the competition, Ghetto Light FC finally lifted the challenge cup Defeating Ilupeju Secondary School in the final.
Led by El Nino himself, Team El Nino defeated the Legend team team to lift the free age version of the Challenge Cup.
In a no contest novelty, Team Bose Defeated team Hamod to earn the bragging rights for the Ghetto Light Ladies captain over his under 10 counterpart.
