3 men, 34, 28, 50 arrested for defiling minors

The uncontrollable appetite for pleasure of one Taiwo Sheuases, has led to his arrest for allegedly defiling a teenage 15-yearold girl in the Bariga market square, Lagos.

The Police Public Relation Officer, DSP Bala Elkana stated that the police station received a complaint that one Taiwo, 34, had allegedly had is way with a teenager, name withheld.

“The suspect was arrested by the detectives from Family Support Unit and he confessed to the crime”, Elkana said.

Blackbox Nigeria gathered that the victim had been taken to the hospital for forensic examination as the suspect will be charged to court. 

Similarly, the people of Bariga were forced to address the moral issue of rape in the community when Fatai Nafiu ‘m’ of No 9 Adetoke Street, Bariga forcefully had an unlawful sexual intercourse with a 15years old girl (Name withheld).

BlackBox Nigeria gathered that Nafiu who lives within the same community have had a track record of harassing young girls on the street.

According to the Police from the Bariga Police State, they had responded to a complaint on August 31, 2019, Nafiu had been caught in the act.

 A team of detectives from the Family Support Unit were deployed to the scene of the event to arrest the suspect. 

He subsequently confessed to the commission of the crime, while the victim was taken to hospital for medical treatment and forensic examination.

 DSP Bala Elkana who is the Police Public Relations Officer, Lagos State, said the suspect will be charged to Court on Monday September 2, 2019.

In another similar development,  the Ajao Estate Police Station arrested one Isaac Ugbogu, 50, for defiling a 3-yealold girl.

The suspect, who resides at No. 31 Awoniyi Elemo Street, Ajao Estate was arrested by detectives from Family Support Unit.

The Ajao Estate Police Station had received a complaint at about 10 a.m. that the unimaginable had happened.

The suspect confessed to the crime as the survivor was taken to the hospital for medical treatment as well as forensic examination.

The suspect will be charged to court.
