President Bola Tinubu, in honor of the 2023 International Youth Day, has reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to creating meaningful opportunities for Nigerian youth.

From job creation to education, skills development, and digital innovation, Tinubu emphasized youth empowerment as a fundamental pillar of his reform initiatives across sectors, enabling Nigerian youth to thrive and contribute to the nation’s growth.

Recognizing the global impact of young Nigerians in technology, the President vowed to fulfill his campaign promise of generating one million new jobs in the digital economy, furthering both their upliftment and the country’s economic development.

According to him, he believes in the principle of “to whom much is given, much is expected,” stressing that he is focused on delivering to Nigerians.

As agents of change, President Tinubu encouraged the youth to lead national progress, unity, and collective prosperity for all citizens.

In line with this year’s International Youth Day theme, “Green Skills for Youth: Towards a Sustainable World,” he called on young Nigerians to champion sustainable development, expanding green job opportunities and advocating for renewable energy solutions.

Tinubu therefore assured the younger generation that his administration will actively engage with and listen to their valuable feedback, citing examples such as The Student Loan Act and the provision of buses to educational institutions as signs of responsiveness.

On this joyful International Youth Day celebration, President Tinubu extended his best wishes to all Nigerian youth.
