Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the last general election in the country, has said that the loss of he had is for Nigerians and not him.
This is coming after the Supreme Court panel delivered that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu won the election after his petition recently.
Reacting to the verdict of the apex court which upheld Tinubu’s victory, Atiku made this known on Monday in an international press conference in Abuja.
The former Vice President said history would subsequently vindicate his moves to truncate Tinubu’s victory.
“If the Supreme Court, which is the highest court in Nigeria, can ignore the cry of Nigerians despite evidences, then Nigeria has lost it and the country is doomed.
“I am absolutely sure that history will vindicate me. The bigger lost is not mine but Nigerians,” he said.
