1.Rico Swavey real name is Patrick Fakoya and he was born in1992 in Nigeria and was the only male child of his parents
2. He was a graduate with a degree in Law from Babcock University but he loved music and became an artist.
3. He was also a legal practitioner, artiste, movie actor, reality TV star, social media influencer, and former Big Brother Naija season 3 housemate.
4. Rico had released several songs titled; Afrosantana, Nacho cruise, This Life, and Boy AFFI, among others and also featured on the movie set of Tinsel and Life 101 drama series.
5. His hobbies during his lifetime are singing and swimming and he had said that he was very good at them during life in BBNaija Season 3 House, ‘Double Wahala’ edition.
6. The BBNaija ex- housemate had confessed to have loved Ahneeka after leaving the house and also revealed that he was in a relationship with his fellow BBN housemate, Princess before they got into the BBN house.
7. However a fellow Big Brother Naija season 3 ex-housemate, Alex Unusual, announced Rico’s accident on Tuesday 11 October 2022,
8. He stated that he had been hospitalized, and the doctors are trying their best to resuscitate him and also asked fans to remember Rico Swavey in their prayers as his health was in a critical situation.
9.A public plea to make donations and a fundraiser to help save his life was also made on Wednesday 12, October as his management announced that he was on life support in the hospital.
10. Tobi Bakre announced the demise of Rico on Thursday 13th of October, 2022 by sharing a photo of him and Rico.
