Quilox Night club owner, Shina Peller and NairaBet CEO, Akin Alabi win Reps elections in Oyo State

King of the night, Shina Abiola Peller has emerged victorious in his quest to represent the people of Iseyin, Itesiwaju, Kajola and Iwajowa Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives. He won as the flag bearer of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

According to INEC, the owner of top nightclub, Quilox polled 44,088 votes to win the seat to represent his people at the National Assembly. 

Shina Peller will be representing Oyo State at the National Assembly

Shina Peller came out tops to defeat his closest rivals, Najeemdeen Oyedeji of the PDP who polled 31,336 while the incumbent representative, Olasupo Abiodun of the ADC polled 12,309 to come a distant third in the race. 

NairaBet CEO, Akin Alabi is also a Reps-Elect

The upcoming 9th National Assembly of the Federal Republic of Nigeria will however house some interesting characters as similarly to the Quilox owner, his close associate and owner of betting company, NairaBet, Otunba Akin Alabi have also won at the Egbeda /Ona-Ara Federal Constituency to represent them at the National Assembly.

Akin Alabi who is also an author and motivational speaker defeated the PDP candidate, Ayokunle Olumuyiwa and the incumbent, Michael Akintola of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to emerge victorious.

An elated Akin Alabi who once contested under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the same position but lost in 2015 has also taken to twitter to express his excitement and appreciation. 

He tweeted:


 

“Thank you Egbeda/Ona Ara federal constituency for believing in me. Thank you to my great party, APC for giving me the platform,”
