● Yul Chibuike Daniel Edochie was born on January 7, 1982. He is 35 years old.
● He is the last child of veteran Nollywood actor, Pete Edochie who has spent over five decades in the media and entertainment industry.
● He was named Yul after top Russian actor, Yul Brynner who died three years after Yul Edochie was born.
● Yul Edochie attended the University of Port Harcourt where he studied Dramatic Acts.
● He married at the age of 22. This was in 2004 and his wife’a name is May Aligwe. Together they have 3 kids.
● His debut movie was ‘The Exquires’ in 2005 where he acted alongside the legendary Justus Esiri and Enebeli Elebuwa. However his big break came when he stared alongside Genevieve Nnaji and Desmond Elliott in ‘Wind of Glory’.
● In 2015, he started the Yul Edochie Academy, an acting training institute in Lagos.
● Yul Edochie is also late actor, Muna Obiekwe’s cousin.
