Maryam Lawan Goroma, a Yobe State University student, tragically passed away on Thursday after collapsing following her examination.
Despite being healthy and hearty beforehand, she suddenly fell unconscious and was declared dead shortly after.
Bukar Maisandari, a classmate of the deceased, shared the heartbreaking news on his Facebook account.
“May Almighty Allah forgive her shortcomings. May Al-Jannah Firdausi be her final abode.
“My deepest sympathy to her family and friends and to all my Chemical [Engineering] colleagues.
“May Allah give you comfort to bear this loss. Ameen.”
