Popular Nigerian social media influencer and actor, Adeyemi Idowu, better known as Yhemolee, has filed a N200 million defamatory suit against fast-rising singer Lil Frosh.
BlackBox Nigeria had reported that the DMW signee took to social media to allege a threat on his life by Yhemolee who he claimed slapped him during a recent encounter.
Yhemoolee, who initially kept mute on the allegations, has now taken legal action against the singer.
The actor shared a copy of a defamation lawsuit on his Instagram page on Wednesday.
He wrote, “The past few days has been a whole lot as I have been falsely accused continuously by @lhilfroshgram which has led me to get multiple death threats from random people, my timeline has been a mess for over 72hrs for something I’m clearly innocent of.”
Through his lawyers, Yhemolee described the assault and threat-to-life allegations as malicious, reckless and false.
He is also demanding an apology from the rapper, retraction of the posts and the sum of N200 million in damages.
