Xenophobia: Nigerians in uyo vandalize mtn shop in reprisal

Following the recent Xenophobic attacks on Nigerians in South Africa, Nigerians in Uyo, Akwa Ibom, in reprisal has vandalized the South African Telecommunication Company, MTN, leaving series of staffs injured and destroying properties worth millions.
This came few hours before the Presidency; Muhammadu Buhari said that Nigerians will not retaliate to the xenophobic attacks against her citizens in South Africa.
The presidents’ stand was confirmed when the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama stated this while speaking with State House correspondents after leading outgoing Ukraine and Sri Lanka ambassador to President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa Abuja.
