Paystack is a Nigerian fintech company that serves payment as platform for businesses and consumers, apparently they don’t allow people to use their payment platforms for “Party-Orgy” payments.
This was made know when paystack denied a lady whose name is Ojochide Obidi the use of their platform for a party she tagged Obidi’s birthday bash which consists of orgy, swimming, pool games e.t.c.
Paystack in its rules and regulations stated in section 2 of paystack’s acceptable use policy, that paystack may not be used in connection with any product, service, transaction or activity that relates to the sale and/ or purchase of certain sexually oriented materials or services, based on this we’ve decided to disable your paystack account as we must ensure our merchant compliance with our acceptable use policy to prevent paystack’s liability exposure.
The host of the party on the other hand accused paystack of Misogyny saying an orgy party is not selling her body parts or involving in transactional sex- but Nigeria talk too much about sec to really not participating in the art.
She also stated that part of the things she needs the money for is to fly out as she has been offered an admission to the Master’s programme in Bioengineering at the University of TARTU.
