A Nigerian woman residing in the United Kingdom recently expressed her belief that women in Nigeria have an advantage over their counterparts in the UK when it comes to receiving financial support from men.
Anike Banks, an entrepreneur, stated that Nigerian women living in their home country are fortunate but may not realize it. She highlighted the stark contrast between Nigeria and the UK, where men are less likely to freely and easily give money to women.
Banks further criticized English men for being stingy, emphasizing that if she were fortunate enough to come across someone willing to offer her £20, she would consider introducing him to her parents.
Anike wrote; “Nigerian women living in Nigeria don’t understand how lucky they are. UK men didn’t give anything. Awon stingy kokoshi.
“If someone dares squeeze £20 in my hand I’ll invite him to come meet my parents.”
