Woli Arole’s ‘The Call’ opens with a bang at the cinemas
This is most definitely an incredible moment for viral sensation turned actor, Woli Arole as his debut movie as an executive producer opened to a huge buzz at the Nigerian cinemas.
BlackBox Nigeria correspondent gathered that the movie which chronicles Woli Arole’s quest for a better life hit the cinemas three days ago and has continued to do well standing shoulder to shoulder with some of the biggest Nollywood movies also showing at the cinemas.

To crown the excitement, top entertainers including Mavin boss, Don Jazzy and a host of others have also turned up at the cinemas to support the comic act whose real name is Oluwatoyin Bayegun. Others who have turned up at the cinemas in support of Woli Arole include top actor and new TAMPAN President, Mr Latin, Muyiwa Ademola, Akpororo, Annie Idibia, Adeniyi Johnson, Ronke Oshodi Oke and many others.
The Call features and array of Nollywood veterans and upcoming stars including Segun Arinze, Yinka Quadri, Hafeez Oyetoro (Saka), Kayode Olaiya (Aderupoko), Asiri, Samuel Ajibola and Etinosa Idemudia.
The movie was produced by fast rising filmmaker, Felix Olojede and was directed by James Abinibi.
