Nobel laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka, on Friday, received his first dose of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine.
In a post via his Twitter handle, Soyinka’s son, Olaokun, made this known, saying the vaccine was administered by Tomi Coker, Ogun state commissioner for health.

Recall Nigeria, on March 5, commenced its COVID-19 vaccination with frontline health workers in Abuja.
President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo were among the first recipients to receive the vaccine in Nigeria, followed by presidential aides, several state governors, among others.
