A fresh drama has trailed the controversial marriage of Nigerian actress and comedian Wofai Ifada and her heartthrob, Taiwo Olakintan Cole.
The love birds tied the knot at a traditional wedding ceremony in Cross Rivers over the weekend. But to the shock of many, the groom’s family, the Cole Family disassociated themselves from the union, according to a statement issued by its patriarch, Kunle Cole.
While the surprising turn of events has sparked a debate on social media, former schoolmates of Taiwo Cole have come forward to out him as a bully.
According to one X user, @mxtolani, Taiwo bullied his juniors during his secondary school days.
“Same Taiwo Cole who wouldn’t let juniors sleep till 3 in the morning because he wanted massages? With his smelly shoes? The same guy who disciplined junior students as if he were the headmaster? Wofai’s eyes will be opened! I’ll be here, God willing,” he wrote.
Another user, @abubakralsadiiq recounted how Taiwo barged into his class before the lunch break to ask a junior for something, disrupting their computer class.
After he was sent off by the teacher, he would later assault the student who laughed at him.
“That bastard held my guy through the lunch break and kept slapping him. Uwais returned to the class with T. Cole’s Prints (slap marks) all over his face. The scary part is we thanked God that was the only thing that monster did to him,” the tweet read.
Taiwo is yet to respond to any of the allegations at the time of this report.
