Nigerian music sensation, Ayo Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has announced that he will be giving out 100 million naira to children as a Christmas gift.
The announcement came via Wizkid’s Instagram story on Monday, where the artist expressed his commitment to bringing joy to children during the festive season and beyond.
In a separate post, Wizkid shared that the substantial donation is a heartfelt tribute to his late mother, who was recently laid to rest.
The ‘Ojuelegba’ crooner emphasized the significance of honoring his mother’s memory through this act of kindness.
Although specific details about the distribution process remain undisclosed, 
Wizkid hinted that the initiative will kick off in Surulere tonight.
