Wike Demolishes Hotels In Port Harcourt Over COVID19 Lockdown Violation
Governor Nyesom Wike moments ago supervised the demolition of Prodest Hotel for violating the State’s lockdown rules.
It was gathered that the hotel had violated the directives given by the State Government in efforts to contain and control the spread of the dreaded coronavirus, COVID19 in the State.
It was reported that Prodest Hotel located in Alode, Eleme local government isn’t the only hotel to be demolished today as another has been caught violating the rules and the Governor’s team will be heading there later today.
BlackBox Nigeria gathered that Governor Wike had at last week ordered a state wide lockdown to prevent the spread of the virus. As at late Saturday, May 9th, 21 cases has been confirmed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control in the State
