“We Would Reach Every Ward, Every Street…”, Odumosu Ashaka Declares, Picks APC Chairmanship form for Imota LCDA

In a significant political development that breath hope and fresh leadership for the people of Imota Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Comrade Odumosu Rafiu Abiodun Ashaka has officially declared his intention to run for the position of Executive Chairman.

He made the intention public by obtaining the APC Chairmanship nomination form today at the party secretariat.

The declaration signals a bold and decisive step toward good governance as Ashaka is believed to be a tested leader with the vision and grassroots experience to transform the LCDA.

Ashaka, who currently serves as the Chairman of the Community Development Committee (CDC) in Imota LCDA, is widely known for his approach to community development.

His leadership was most visible during the peak of the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020 when he led the coordination and distribution of food packs to vulnerable households in the area.

“A new dawn is set to rise over Imota LCDA,” Ashaka declared in his campaign statement.

“Under my leadership, hope will rise, development will thrive, and the people will flourish.”

His campaign, themed around The Reserved Agenda, promises an inclusive leadership model driven by unity, passion, and a genuine love for the people of Imota. Ashaka has pledged to ensure that every ward, every street, and every citizen experiences the tangible benefits of a people-first government.

Beyond his political ambitions, Ashaka is a respected community organizer with a long history of mobilizing youth, advocating for social justice to deliver grassroots progress.

Speaking to supporters after picking up the nomination form, he emphasized the need for collective action.

He said, “This is not just about me; it is about all of us. Together, we will build an Imota LCDA that our children and their children will be proud of.”
