As part of his consultation tour to wards in Ikorodu Constituency I, an aspirant for the Lagos State House of Assembly, Toyin Gafaar Bolowotan has met with ward executives and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ikorodu North LCDA.
This came moments after he met a fellow aspirant and former Chairman of Ikorodu North LCDA, Hon. Adeola Jokomba, to discuss the possibility of working together ahead of the primaries.
Accompanied by his team, Bolowotan who is the Director General of the Lagos State Sports Commission visited three wards in Ikorodu North, as his consultative tour reaches day two.
Leaders and party faithfuls in Ward E2 in the Lucky Fibre area of Ikorodu were the first set of hosts to the Lagos Assembly aspirant.
In high spirits and loud cheers, the LSSC boss was welcomed by party members, ward executives and members of his campaign group, Team Bolowotan.
Delivering a brief speech, Bolowotan spoke on his mission to bring forth better representation to Ikorodu residents and promised to deliver the dividends of democracy to them.
The ward chairman, who spoke on behalf of other party members, declared that they all unanimously endorsed his aspiration, affirming they have no doubt in his competence and willingness to serve the people of Ikorodu Constituency I.
The reception was also warm for Bolowotan and his team when they stopped by Ward B3 in Isiwu to formally present his letter of intent and seek the support of party stakeholders in the area.
Alhaji Luqman Shonibare, an APC chieftain in Isiwu, in his remarks, commended the aspirant and attested to his good person and urged delegates in the area to support him.
The final stop was at Ward E4 in Olorunda also in Ikorodu North LCDA. The party leaders in the ward also endorsed Bolowotan, raising his hands up in the air to the delight of elated party members.
