Wayne Rooney Reportedly Set To Replace Frank Lampard As Everton Manager
Former Manchester United and England legend, Wayne Rooney is set to replace Everton manager, former Chelsea and England legend, Frank Lampard at the Goodison Park.
There are strong indications that Lampard is on the edge of being fired as Everton head coach following the club’s recent poor performance.
BlackBox Nigeria gathered that, Rooney, who is the manager of Major League Soccer club DC United, is the favourite to take over from Lampard at Goodison Park.
This is coming after Everton’s Premier League 4-1 defeat to Brighton on Tuesday night
The Chelsea legend walked off the pitch with his head bowed as fans booed him and the players.
Everton have now won just one of their last ten Premiere League games.
The Toffees will drop into the relegation zone if they fail to win their next Premiere League match against Southampton.
