By Watch As Wike “Rescues” Joy Nunieh From Police Seige (VIDEO)
Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has intervened for the former Acting Managing Director of NDDC, Dr Joy Nunieh after her house was barricaded by officers of the Nigerian Police.
It was reported that Governor Wike broke into the residence of Dr Nunieh to foil attempts by Police officers who were allegedly there to arrest and prevent her from going to Abuja to testify before a House of Representatives Committee over corruption allegations in the NDDC.
In a video captured by TVC News, Governor Wike was seen taking Dr Nunieh away in his personal official vehicle as he dispersed the Police officers who had laid a seige on the property before his arrival. Watch the video below…
