Waste your votes on me or vote Atiku- Female Presidential candidate shocks supporters 

Eunice Atuejide is obviously not one of the most popular contenders gunning for President Muhammadu Buhari’s seat but she is obviously one of his most vocal critic. 

The United Kingdom trained lawyer whose political party, National Interest Party (NIP) is based online, recently dragged President Muhammadu Buhari to court praying that he be declared unfit to run for the polls which comes up barely two weeks from now.

The female presidential candidate who is also an IT expert has in recent publications on her Instagram account insinuated that she is certain she cannot win the polls. She has also subtlety informed her supporters to cast their votes for the PDP candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and his running mate, Peter Obi. She however insists she wouldn’t step down from the race but would rather go ahead as the lone female candidate following Oby Ezekwesili’s withdrawal. 

“And someone will now ask me what about you, Kingsley Moghalu, Fela Durotoye, Omoyele Sowore, etc,” she wrote. 

Explaining why she won’t support her other ‘non-heavyweight’ presidential candidates, she posited, “Abeg my dear people, let’s call a spade a spade mbok. The duo of Atiku and Obi beat all of us pack together and remained change. I didn’t even know Atiku could speak English, talk less of seriously discuss policy issues….🤨 Anyway, there are people in my crew that would rather die than vote #AtikuObi, so for those ones – I am in the race to the Presidency to the finish lines. Yes, waste your votes on me because it is a question of personal convictions.” 

Eunice Atuejide in a shocking moment revealed that she was absolving her supporters of any form of guilt should they decide to vote for Atiku. 

“…those who are undecided, or afraid to hurt or offend me, I tell you my loved ones I FREE YOU ALL bcos even I might vote Atiku and Obi. 

Why? The Nigeria they promised us last night is the Nigeria of my dreams. And guess what? They have a millionth more chance of getting in than I, and all the other alternative candidates have. Plus, like Peter Obi rightly pointed out, the worst of the old PDP have crossed over to APC – hopefully NEVER to return again. So guys, we need to look away from the platform and look at the candidates,” she wrote. 

She however urged those who had rather die than vote for the PDP candidate “waste their votes on me”.

Still on the NTA #TheCandidates matter. I, Eunice Atuejide will not step down from the race to the Presidency. The NIP presidential candidate further went on Twitter to shock many when she declared that “…I might be the first female  Presidential Candidate ever to not vote for herself.”
